Late 19th Century, German Silver Plated, Tea and Coffee Service
Four-piece German late 19th-early 20th century silver 800 tea and coffee service in the Rococo style, comprised of a teapot, coffeepot, creamer and lidded sugar bowl. All vessels have a swirled lobed body engraved with floral sprays throughout. Each individual piece from the service is marked, on the bottom of the base, with one mark for the silver fineness “800”. The work is an excellent example of engraving and repoussée work. It is in good condition. Silversmith: “CC” illegible.
